Band History
Port MacNam was a college rock band formed out of a trio of Ben Macarell, Yushi Portwood, and Cameron Narimanian from hosting Ithaca College’s Open Mic Nights. The group is a collaboration between Cameron’s (guitar/keyboard/vocals) material under the two groups the electronic rock of The Trinity Project and the heavy metal project Soul From Body, Ben’s (bass/saxophone/guitar/vocals) music Ben Macarell, and Yushi Portwood (drums) under Yamaguchi. The group also plays a variety of genre blending covers of metal, electronic, rock, soul, and pop, ranging from the likes of Ozzy Osbourne to A-ha and Bruno Mars as well as material from both Cam’s and Ben’s projects.
